Finally I can upload her! My fingers get all itchy when I’ve finished a picture so I want to upload it right away! But since I take part in many contest or draw pictures for holidays I can’t upload them before the deadline~
Patchouli was my first picture for the year, so I bid 2010 farewell with moving all the pictures I’ve drawn last year in a separate folder. I was surprised how much I managed to draw and was happy that I improved during the year. It looks like it won’t be such a fruitful year 2011 though.. My current art folder is very empty.. I have a few things I need to do, so I probably will get those finished at least. (Yes, I do have contests in mind again!)
The winners haven’t been announced yet but it seems there was a lot of competition so I’m not very confident about it. The sad part of those “make up a mascot for my site” contests is: I won’t draw them ever again. :( A lot of time goes into designing them and they’re thrown away at last. It’s not like I could reuse old designs for new contests either, so basically I also won’t have time to draw them again since new contests ask for new designs.
We were also supposed to name the character, so to me she is “Yuuka”.
